I live in Portland, in the Beaverton area, and am currently driving down to Memaloose Rd to do target shooting and use my dueling tree.  Is there anywhere closer to do this kind of shooting?  Thanks.

Haven't you been to TCGC?

I am not sure how long I might be in the area, so I was trying to avoid joining a gun club until I found which school I got accepted to at the end of the year.  If I pay dues somewhere now, and then I happen to get into a school in a different area, I will be out the money.  It's free to go to Memaloose Rd., but it is a long drive.

Unless he is on the far west side Mamaloose is probably clouser.

i'm sure there are other places but most seem like they are at least 40-100 miles away *browns camp is clouse to 90 from me*

it just all depends theres ranges you can just pay to shoot here in the metro area like PSTC and The Place to Shoot but only pistol cals.

He lives in Beaverton, therefore Brown's camp is MUCH closer than Memaloose.

Well, there's Memaloose State Park and Memaloose Airport and Memaloose Trail so I would be willing to wager that Microsoft is wrong.

I am good, thanks for asking.  You??  The rock pile is only an issue if there are a bunch of long gun folks.  the pile is actually convenient for handguns, and is not an issue for 6-8 long arms.
