Not sure.  To be honest, I really don't care to go to Rilea.  You can't take munitions through 26, so we have to go up through Washing to Longview, over into Astoria, and South from there.

What you fuckers are crying about?  Go down and raise your hand and you can go to the 240 range too... life is all about tradeoffs

They used to have a mock up of a small town there.

Also, that's where the state tropper sniper shot and killed a fellow officer during training.

On 09/12/2000, 36-year-old Deputy Bill Bowman was shot and killed by a fellow Clackamas County SWAT team member.  At the time of his death Deputy Bowman had a wife and two children, a 3-year-old and a 3-month-old.

From a November of 2002 KGW.com article:  "In August, Clackamas County and Bowman’s widow agreed to a $2.25 million settlement relating to her husband’s death."

Not military here..but thanks for you're service!!!

We had the run of Camp Rilea on January 21/22 when we brought the Boy Scouts and Webelos (Last year Cub Scouts). Excellent time! Boys shot 12/20 gauge and of course BB. Hiked to North bunker, toured mock town, and use the gym and PX... great place, boys loved it. At the BB range (5 yards from the steel triangles) the boys pulled some intersting lead from the sand...we ID'd most.

Thanks again for the pics. GB "Helping make todays boys into tomorrows men"

I can't tell you how many blanks and Simunitions I've fired off there, or how many smoke grenades I've seen get popped while running through it

Yep he's a buddy of mine, went to the desert with him in May/June, and now he's headed back there--Qatar for six months after Silver Flag in Nevada.  That is a small world
