If it is going to get as cold as they are saying I hope we do get some snow first. If we don't we may get some serious cold damage in the carrot and onion seed crops over here.

I love the snow but like peta said the idiots in this town just freak out when it happens. It's now 1015am here in the burg and I am seeing the sunshine....weird how different the weather is just 70 miles away.

Yeah, it was raining in Salem and Portland.  Guess we just got lucky.  Snowed for about an hour and a half straight.  Stopped now, snows melting, and the sun is starting to peak through.

They aren't so optimistic now.  Probably be more cold and dry than snowy.  If it does snow, it won't be much, and the farther south you are the better the chance of getting some.

I really hate that..

OMGWTFBBQ HERE COMES HELLA SNOW!!!!!!!!!

Day comes,

Hmm.. I guess the jet stream changed and the thermonuclear whatchamagadget thingamobobber El Niño gravitational pull of Uranus caused an influctuation from tropical air in Brazil thus producing a fluctuation in climate in our area. We are now forecasting a draught with highs in the mid 140's and lows in the 600's. Stay tuned to find out why this Gresham cat makes a journey to Vancouver to poop in this schools sand box, and other stories from our news team.

It was snowing a little up at PCC Sylvania (SW Portland, 600ft elevation) today around 2:00 PM.  Not much and it didn't last long.

Keep that shit up there, not that I don't mind it, but I live in a town full of dumbasses and it will turn this place into a friggin zoo

Town full of dumbasses, huh.

I do agree that it does turn into a zoo with just a little snow.
I hope it stays away for awhile. My wife is over in Madras, and I would like her to be able to drive  home tomorrow. Plus, I also need to get up north on Saturday.

Almost looks like Monday might be the best chance for some real snow.  Gonna be cold as hell before that though.  Supposed to be 15* here, next three nights after tonight.  Was checking out the forecast up north, like Bellingham area, and they are saying possible single digits below zero for lows.    It hasn't been this cold in a long time.
