Only way I am getting one is if they change the rifle back to a 550, or if there is an impending AWB.

The gun will take both AR mags and the new sig poly mags.
Dont know if it will be adaptable to side folder but you can bet I will figure out a way!!!!

UPDATE

Spoke with Sigarms today and here's what I was able to find out :

1. As I mentioned before the forend has Picatinney Rails which does NOT contact the barrel
2. It def. has a COLLAPSABLE stock , not a folder.
3. The price for LEO Individual Officer purchase will be around $975 , soooo LEO prices are usually 10% less than commercial sales so it should come in at around $1075-$1100 civilian price.
4. The magazine well will accept AR15 mags AND a new version of their polymer type m

It looks like an AR stock, so couldnt you just slap a one of them fancy folders from yhm on there or something to that affect?

Because it would be a $2300 SBR with $80 mags?

the folding stock adds $1000?  don't think so

No. Different lower, different hanguards, different grips, different mags, different barrel, weight drop of about 1.8 pounds, etc. etc.

This Sig will be not be made by SwissArms and thus subject to different quality control.

It's like saying why a Colt is worth more than an Oly...to put it in terms you can relate.

I really doubt it.

If they can build that, they could have left it the same.

Now it’s a SlGAR… goofy lookin SlG rifle with arf parts hanging off it.

Seems like everything nowadays has an M4 stock on it or can be added; kinda makes me embarrassed that my M4 has an M4 stock.
