Today at PR we had a little extra time after we finished stage four so we ran it with just pistols (thanks Pribbz.) Anyway will ROing the stage I dropped a sig mag in the mud. All I did was rinse it off in a puddle and that is the mag I ran for the pistol only round of stage 4 1/2. I have not cleaned the SIG/s since our October shoot, so it started off fairly dirty to begin with. I still have yet to have any type of malfunction with the P226 in over 5k rounds. I am very happy with SIG.

I think it's a great testament to the weapons reliability and would also guess that had somthing to do with why they have been chosen for mil use as well.
On a different note, did any of you see WS4LIF shooting a 1911 45ACP???? |

I have absolutely no experience with Sigs (never even held one), but I am glad to hear how well they work. Reminds me: I gotta go clean the guns...

I have very little time with two kids under three and a seven your old. Besides It's good to know what abuse your gun will take. I am hoping to clean them this week. |

P-14 with 20 rounders, it is not a matter of needing them so much as it is having them.

My nine year old love to load the stripper clips before and clean guns after. Kinda nice. Very good bonding time

I thoroughly enjoyed watching People shooting .45ACP.. expecially when you watch the slug flying towards the target. It was funny.

And that my friends is why I got a 40. No recoil to speak of and it spanks steel. I had no problem with the steel paddles at the shoot. Side note, I have no problem with 45 acp. I just don't own one. Maybe some day

+2 It was all shot placement. When we started out it was also that the tree was tilted because even .45 wasn't swing it all the way around. Once it was move for the stage three safety concerns everyone had a much easier time on the tree.

I didn't realize the tree was tilted that bad but did notice a few targets that required a second shot to swing it all the way around, makes sense now.

My first P220 didnt run worth a damn, couldnt make a qual course without a malf and that was with ball. I got rid of that POS and am happy to report my new P220 runs fine. Only have a couple hundred rounds through it though. Just cant get into the DA autos

Cleaned the guns. Glock was easy. Damn that AR was dirty. Had to beat the bolt carrier on the floor to get the firing pin out. (Yes... I did remove the cotter pin.)
