It's funny you should mention this, I was just thinking about this last night.
How about Rip Van Winkle-ish caracter, passed out against a tree trunk, with a moon shine jug laying next to him? Or I have a scene on a post card, most of you have likely seen it before, it's got the antique log truck loaded with huge logs, I bought a wallet with the same thing years ago. ETA: how about a rickety old out house? |
^^^ That'a about representative of the local ARFCOM crew! LOL! All it needs is a flannel shirt. |

speak for yourself! j/k I like the flag we have on our lower receiver: |
I would like to see the state outline with a waving US flag in it, and on the top it would say "Team Oregon", and under it would stay "Likes Beaver."
Yeah, but can you get that on a REAL AR? |
lol, yes, that is a real bushmaster lower just butchered a little so it could be sold in CA. |
I like the Beaver actually. I wonder if there's a picture of Tom McCall's old sign "Welcome to Oregon" be go home [or what ever it said]. |
If you are going to try and find someone to make the acutal logo a custom design I'm fairly certain it will have to be a rather simple design. I would imagine the manufacturer would just use the mills to etch the logo. If you want laser etching/engraving on the other side then I'd imagine it could be fairly intricate.
I'd much prefer the custom logo if you could find a manufacturer to do it. |
You would you homo..... How about an AR-15 outline inside the state outline? And have "TEAM OREGON" above/below it? |
Mybe JAFOs brossed ARs? |
Technically, no. That is a FAB-10. It predates the Bushmaster CA lower by about two years. It was the first CA legal neutered AR. A friend of mine behind enemy lines has one. I make fun of him about it. He is currently trying to buy two real Stag lowers due to a loophole in the law. |

So your friend is going to help them figure out where they need to patch the hull? |
OHHH. I don't think that would be good. It seems to me like it would be getting a tattoo of yourself or something. |
It's a long story, and the DOJ is already hard at work patching the hole. www.calguns.net/calgunforum/forumdisplay.php?f=81 |

I just read some stuff on that forum. The California AWB is such a mess. Aside from my personal feelings, it's not defined well enough to let either lawmakers or citizens know what the hell is legal.
Umm my friend thats Californa as a whole.. its not just the AWB.. the smog laws are just as insane as well as other laws that are importent.. |
You should look back one page |
I actually really like it. I think that it should be on one side of the receiver. On the otherside an outline of Oregon with "Team Oregon AR15.com" inside it. |
I know. Ilike9s posted it and got called a homo. Probably too difficult to do the state seal but the eagle is cool for it's rare symbolism. An Oregon team rifle needs something reflecting Oregon, IMO. State outline is enough for me.
Ilike9s did? Huh. |
Do it like the flag: Seal on one side, beaver with Team Oregon on the other.
Damm, no respect I tell ya! 9s, wipe that grin off your face! |

Displaced Oregonian here (Uncle Sam wants me to live in South Carolina for now). I vote for ilike9s offering:
