Well, it's time for another get together and every one is itchin to show off their new toys! The next date for the the BIG MEET is going to be Saturday. January 21st. Location is Brown's CampMEMELOOSE QUARY/RD, which if a helpful member can post up directions would be great!

Show up any where from 8am to 5pm, dawn to dusk. All are welcome, guns or not. Dealers are of course welcome and I have a few new ones and manufactures even looking to show up to the next shoot.

These shoots are always fun and all guns are welcome, machine guns, taneritte, what ever you got....if it's legal bring it! We should have alot of "quiet guns" by then too! After lunch we will have a 30min-1 hour suppressor only shoot! No hearing protection required!

See you all there! And if my P90 comes in by then ++++++++

Gang, we do not need any negative stuff in this thread.  We do not need a permit for this shoot and what we are doing is not considered an event.  Please post any constructive info you can, or if you can make it or cannot make it.  We will get the directions back up here soon.  This is a fun and safe event and I hope everyone will make it, you will not be dissapointed. If you have any concerns please IM petagunner so we can keep this clean. Thank you!

Don't know what happened either, but can we get that map back? See y'all there

Directions from Portland:

- Take Hwy 26 West.
- Turn left (left exit) onto Hwy. 6 South
- Drive 20 miles.
- Turn left at sign for "Brown's Camp". This is right before a road maintanence shack on the left.
- Take your first right. From here on, ignore the signs for Brown's Camp. That's not where you're going.
- Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, and the quarry's on the left. (Basically, head downhill...mostly).

Please note that cell phones do NOT work out here.

Here's Pat's Directions as well. While I don't agree with his map (I'll check mine again next time I'm out there) he does have pictures of all the major turns.

hopefully i can go, kinda wanna check out the "quiet shoot".  hopefully have my wife's Pink AR and my 40cal glock by then.  Might even trade off the Mini14 for a 22-250 varmint gun.  sounds like it could be fun as long as it doesnt get stupid cold/snowy/monsoon-y.  Mind the weather report.  too much snow and both my 2wd vehicles are stuck staying in the valley.

Nothing like the sound of raindrops sizzling on a barrel....

But with the snow, I'll definitely need a ride. The "blingmobile" probably won't do too well on 6" of snow.

I won't have too much "cool" this time though. Maybe I need to finish my mag project.

If you want one in Southern OR then schedule one.  The Sunday ones at Browns Camp had been mainly due to ilike9s wanting to shoot on his day off, so he scheduled it that way.

The Seahawks used to be a part of the AFC West prior to the 2002 re-alignment of the league.  They now share the NFC West with St. Louis, Arizona, and San Francisco.

GO HAWKS!

Hmmm...depends on what I have available.

Lots of people have asked me about the CZ Kadet. So I'll bring that.

I'll bring my new Bushmaster M4 (the one with a twist so fast it makes bullets explode). It needs "broken in" with about 500-1000 rounds of ammo. Anybody got a Beta mag I can borrow?

Need to run some ammo through the new Mossberg 500 (wow, what a thrill).
If I get my can paperwork back, I'll throw that on the 20" AR-15

I doubt I'll have the Mosin worked up by then. Maybe.

And maybe the AK.

That's about it.

It will depend on how many W's I have to bring and the weather.  I'll bring Elmer, my 1911 for sure.  I really enjoyed shooting the SKS up in WA so I'll try to bring that [depends on car/suburban and room].

What would you like?

I hate to tell you this folks, but as of the weekend of December 10th the Browns Camp Quary is no longer open to shooting.  My son an I stoped by there on that day, and the Quary was closed to shooting as they were mining the rocks.  The sign didn't say how long the quary would be closed, and maybe this is a seasonal thing that I don't know about, but I thought you all might like to know.

Yep it's seasonal. When the equipment pulls out, the quarry is usually re-opened.
