How about another shoot Saturday October 23 at 10AM
(same bat time, same bat place) -Chris |
If your up for another member to come along...Im always up for a shoot.
I'm game unless my job gets in the way. Sounds like you guys had a good time at the last shoot!
So, Saturday the 23rd of October then!
Cool, I'll pencil myself in. |
Looks like the Washington crew is going to be doing a shoot the weekend of the 23rd also. You guys should just have your shoot at "our place" It's only an hour and a half north of portland
I just got new tires, an oil change, and a new fuel filter on my trunk. Did I hear somebody say ROAD TRIP!
I'll go up if everybody else wants too. Bang |
Looks like I actually have that day free (small miracle), So I will probably be at one or the other.

I WILL BE THERE!!!!
I missed the last one, and man I was pissed. I will not miss this next one, My only question, are we doing a OR/WA shoot? I mean are we going to combine forces or what. I am in either way. Hey WA, is there a place to park a camper or pitch a tent near your range? Could be fun to show up the night before, sit around the fire and have a few beers wth friends! CH |
I'll show up either place. Just tell me when and where. If a road trip is order so be it. I just got my WA CWP last month and I feel a need to drive north and exercise my know legally acknowledged rights anyway. The date is marked off on the calendar and I'm ready to shoot. he
Cheers, -Dave |
Yes indeed! Some of us normally go up on Friday night and party it up a bit, then shoot all day Saturday, then party again Sat night and leave Sunday AM. Lots of room for campers, trailers, tents etc. |
Nice! Well whats it gonna be everyone? I am in for a road trip and could pick up one more on my way through PDX. How about a NW ARFCOM get together? CH |
That would be sweet! And by sweet, I mean totally cool! Just remember that we are still run by communists and there is no F/A her unless you are a MFG or LEO dealer (not sure on all the rules). Other than that , all you all are more than welcome. We have a very safe, very nice pit and it's real easy to get to. Let's combine this one north and maybe send the next one sout. |
Fixed it for you.. I'm not a litter nazi but I saw pics of your guys' pit and all I can say is "DAMN don't fall down" |
Yes, sad to say the place is a DUMP!!! But it is one of the bigger pits around. The place is used by alot of people and most folks just don't care anymore. I have started doing most of my shooting around the Timber area. Not over used as much and alot easier to clean up when done. My truck is small but I might be able to take someone up there if they don't have too much gear. I'll just be going up for the day and will be coming from Forest Grove. Bang |
Still waiting to hear from the rest of the Oregon crew. Will there be two separate shoots or one...
Chime in everyone. I have already put it on the calendar and will be spending some time with the progressive thats for sure(Need some more 45acp!). If we go WA, I will likely have room for another. I will either bring a trailer or camper so lots of room for gear. Will be going up the night before for a little quality campfire time! Just waiting to hear the official word from everyone here. Hey Wa crew, how about a map so I can get oriented. CH |
I’m cool with it either way.
I wonder what is more central though; I know the Washington shoot is only an hour and a half from Browns Camp in Oregon, but I’m already a few hours south of Browns Camp. It’s not too big of a deal though. Can’t bring any C3 stuff to WA either! I was kinda hoping to have one in each state, but whatever we can get the most people to is what we should do. I just wanna go shooting with you guys! -Chris |
Provided I get my deer early, I'm up for either. I'll bring the Benelli this time, see if somebody can bump fire it!!!!
we don't give out the directions to this pit publicly. it is a really nice pit and don't want every joe, bob and harry to find directions to it on the net. i can email you directions or we usually meet just off of I-5 and follow out to it. I'm really bad at directions though i'll talk with some of the WA guys that are going up the night before and see if someone wants to meet everyone that is coming up on friday and lead them to the pit. |
Theres no chance we could do it on Sunday?
I think I have a Football Game Saturday (I coach). |
Deer: check Bump fire a benelli: Were do I sign? CH |
Mr45auto can probably do it! |
I can make it to brown's camp, so let me know where it will be so I don't show up and have anybody to play with.
Where are you all going to shoot? I like Brown's Camp myself because of the price.
I’d love to go join the guys up in Washington, but I’m already looking at a tight weekend and a 2.5-hour drive just up to Browns Camp. And I can’t bring any Class III stuff to Washington.
I’ll be at Browns Camp. |
If we have a group at Brown's, that would be my preference (I drive too much as it is). HopeyouWashington guys are not offended if we have one here, too.
Nick |
As it turns out we will be moving the end of September. Going from an apartment in Forest Grove to a mobile home in Banks so money will be tight. But if ya'll want to do one at Brown's Camp I can make that as it's only 20 miles from my house.
Bang |
I don't think anyone will be offended. We really should get our heads together one of these days though and have one 'bigger' PNW shoot. I'd rather see it in OR or ID just because people could bring toys with fun switches. ...of course, then you would have a bunch of us 'not as free' staters moochin' a shoot. So either way with this shoot, let's all go out and have some fun no matter which one we are at! |
Browns camp for me(need directions). Sorry WA but I have to support my OR crew! CH |
Here for the 23rd, assuming this thread is an open invitation. -I feel the need to meet my Oregon neighbors before heading up north for a WA shoot.
What time at Browns Camp on the 23rd?
I've got to work that afternoon. |
Yes this is an open invite. All are welcome. I'll be up before 10:00 again to set up some signs for those who come a little later. See ya there. Bang |
Thanks guy. Saw the date and skipped right over the time. |

Will you make it with work and all? CH |
