What: Redwolf 2 Gun Challenge

Where: Angry Emu Range

When: 08/21/2022 10AM - safety meeting/stage planning, overnight camping on Saturday night for those interested

There will be 5 stages which are generally created with input from everyone. I've got a starting stage in mind for this week though.  At a minimum a pistol, rifle, ammo, & spare mags is generally all you need.  Holsters, slings, & mag pouches are handy though.  Ranges for pistols are generally 10-25 yards & 50-200 yards for rifles.  2-3 pistol (15rd mags) & 1-2 rifle mags (30rd mags) is usually enough to get through a stage.  Round counts have been fairly low lately.  Stages can include running, barriers, reloads, & other fun challenges we come up with as the day goes on.  Feel free to ask any questions or offer suggestions.

Outage at the lumber Mill that weekend. I'd much rather be at 2 Gun.

Looks like we've got a decent chance of rain tomorrow. I'll be out there unless the rain turns into severe thunderstorms.

The weather was surprisingly cooperative today. No rain at all while I was there. Thanks to everyone who was able to make it today and to @Emu as always for providing a great place for us to shoot. I can happily say we no longer have an odor problem at the range. Above are the times for today.

There was some discussion about changing up the scoring where the rankings aren't set by overall time. You get points based on your time for each stage. 5 for the fastest stage time, 4 for the 2nd fastest and so on. I like the idea but will leave it up for everyone to discuss.

The next match will likely be on September 18th.

Thanks @Emu and @MisterTwo for putting it together (literally).....the re hanging the steel was greatly appreciated.

Not sure who to tag for the brushcutting services......but its like a whole different range with the fresh cut.....so thanks for that too.

I should be in for the Sept.  Glad the smell of dead horse is gone and hopefully it will be a lot cooler by then.

Wish I had time to cut it a little more often.  Should be able to make the next shoot though.
