A weld cracked. Caused the can to bend enough to catch a lot of gas.
Q sent a shipping slip for return, replaced the damaged bit and had it back in my hands inside 72 hrs. Bad that it broke, but amazing response by Q. |

Went and got a couple boxes of .308 168GR FGMM. Time to zero the new bolt gun and see what it can do with the new glass and rings.
When I bought the rifle it had a $20 Amazon mount and cheap Nikon scope. I don't understand why people invest in a nice rifle capable of MOA and cheap out on optics/mounts. |

The Savage was rebarrelled with an X-caliber barrel with a standard .308Win chamber. |
