Ate my dinner via flashlight, storm was pretty intense for a minute then the power went out until just now. Had some small hail and something hit the house, hope everyone stays safe tonight east of me. East Carroll/West Douglas County, BTW. Time for a drink.

We had nasty hail here.

The storm killed our surround sound system receiver and our Roku right through the surge protector. At least the all the other electronics on the same surge protector survived. I'm still not sure how it zapped those two components but not the TV which was also on at the time. There wasn't any lightning strikes close to us at the time just a crap ton of hail falling.

Picked up a Graham’s 20yr Tawny today.
Oh my, is it smooth, even compared t9 their 10yr Tawny. That & hanging on the deck with the wife & kids. About to throw some brats on the grill. Howdy to my GA arfcom brethren. |
