Er meh gerd Cofid!?!?#@#@#

I'm mid-50s, have multiple co-morbidities, had the virus. I died. It was very sad. My older sisters had it. One has had a heart attack, and the other has smoked for 40 years. We all survived having the 'rona.

My son works, and goes to online school. My daughter goes to an evil in-person school.

They’ll be closed for a few weeks, reason being that they do not have the substitutes to keep operating. The numbers are spiking amongst all age groups. More staff testing positive, plus cold and flu season. Same thing happening in Fulton. Fulton just doubled substitute pay this week trying to combat the lack of subs. If I were betting, I’d say 4 weeks minimum.

I’m teaching at a private school and we’re planning on business as usual (in class learning with an online option for students who choose) as long as we can.

These shutdowns are the most damaging thing we can be doing to this generation of kids.
Edit: Well, that and these election results.
