I'll be in the Cumming area next week doing possible moving recon, you guys gave me great ideas for dinner, so, I have time to kill late morning to mid afternoon monday and Tuesday, already did the aquarium which was awesome. Any ideas, must see or do type of things? Really don't want to sit around with my wife all day doing nothing, have plans for the evening, just not the day.
Thanks.

I would go to dawsonville gun in the morning  and then to Atlanta Motorsports Park for a few Kart track laps in the afternoon.

If Atlanta is mostly virgin territory for both of you...

have a lunch meal from a list of Neal Boortz's favz and
finish with a drink @ noonish in the Sundial... for the wife, sir.

Tell her that you're taking her for a spin.

I'm so da-damn old that the Polaris was the Head Turner
and I bought my future wife prime rib & lobster tail for two (2) for $19.79 {almost four (4) decades ago, one cocktail each included ...
barkeep was former USMC} .

Did I mention the Varsity?

If she is into gun shops, then hit Forsyth pawn, Dawsonville gun and finish up at big D's  bbq for a brownie sandwich.

If you are really bored, take 20 west and hit Cherokee pawn (warning lots of money well probably be spent), big woods good, hi-caliber, take 575 south to truprep, adventure outdoors,, and finally. going gear

Should be dinner time by then do hit up the sun dial.

I think I put them in the right order to make a loop.

Just read this trip is for her.... she into wine?
Hit up north Georgia wine tour. Dahlonaga is a great little mountain town that's on the way. Grisson gold mine for a 100 year old mine where she can find some gold!

There is also Ikea

If she's into wine, Chateau Elan isn't that far from Cumming over in Braselton.  Hotel, Spa, Winery, Golf or just look for houses in that area too.  They have a few different fine dining restaurants there as well, if that's on the agenda.

If your into good bourbon and food, try " The Bourbon Bar". It's on peachtree st just south of what some people would call the best shopping in atlanta.

If she likes beer.... there is sweet water brewery and several micro breweries! I'm not a big beer person so I am sure someone else will chime in. There is a killer one (food and beer wise) on Peachtree

Looks like Sunday arrive in Greeville and drive up to hotel and dinner at Pampas, gold mine on Monday, Tuesday carts early than possible shoot a USPSA match that evening or go to Jekyll brewing for their tour and beernanigans, Sweetwater isn't an option for Tuesdays. Wednesday leave hoping I convinced my wife this is where we need to live.

Thanks for the help and suggestions

Don't have to go that far...Check out Jekyll in Alpharetta or Hop Alley, also in Alpharetta (brewmaster and part owner is an ARFCOMer.) Josh and Brandon do a great job 'locally.'
