Anyone have a press in the area, I could swing by and use? I have a tapered pin in the gas block of my pistol upper thats seized in the block. Ive already broke 2 punches, Ive tried heat, penetrating lube, ect, last resort is a press, which I dont have.

I don't have a press here anymore. From my AK demilling experience I can tell you that it's easier to jar it loose with a punch than a press. If you are breaking punches with a hammer, how will you avoid doing that  with the presses punch? I had a 12 ton from HF but loaned it out awhile back. Try sticking it in the freezer and see if that might help. Otherwise I'd take it to one of our numerous pin whisperers in the area...

Odds are a press will deform it rather than punch it out

I wasted a 1919a4 trunnion on one.. Never again!

Heat and cool is the key
