Tried a search....could not find anything. Atlanta area shops that have discounts for Glock .mil/LEO please? Do they exist?

My lack of search results is probbaly because I have no idea how to work the search on this website

I recommend Ed's Pawn in Stockbridge- the staff is much friendlier and willing to answer questions- not to mention, SPD charges the full $90 installed for night sights as opposed to the $56 installed that Ed's does.  I bought at SPD once, and I have been an Ed's customer ever since.

Their LEO/MIL catalog with pricing can be found here:
http://www.edspublicsafety.com/glockindividual.html (ETA- Oops, beaten to it, but I made it hot)

I would recommend that you call ahead and make sure that they have the model that you want- "common" models like the 17, 19, 22, and 23 are constantly in and out of stock.  I had to wait a couple weeks for my Gen. 4 17 last year, but I was willing to wait for it rather than go back to SPD.

All you need is your CAC.  Last time, I was in and out in about 20 minutes, including the night sight install.

The $398 price is with the standard sights (white dot front, box rear)- the night sights are a $56 upgrade (and well worth it, IMHO).

OH, my bad- no, it will be $398 plus tax, so right round $427-ish for the basic models.

Aww, you can still be super excited.  You're getting a great deal!

My wife is the Glockophile (she owns a few), but I've kidnapped her 17 and started carrying it everyday instead of my 1911.  I've taken a liking to my wife's Tupperware.  Next time I go to Ed's, I may come home with a Glock 34 that is mine and only mine.

Yeah you're getting blue label, something available to us civvies via a purchase coupon IF we join GSSF for at least a 2 year membership. That's the price I got my gen 4 G19 for from Ed's - they were helpful with answering questions about joining GSSF and were patient with me when i called two or three times a week for like a MONTH asking if they had any in stock . Had no problem whatsoever giving them my business.

If it helps anyone, a commercial pilot license will also get you the lower price at Ed's.

Or at least it used to...I'm not seeing any reference to it now at http://www.edspublicsafety.com/discount.html   Maybe they want to see FFDO credentials now?

A vote for Ed's.   Great service and they support the community by appearing and supporting local events.

Will ED's also sell to prior military? I know when I asked glock they said they extend the discount to prior military. But the only place I could find that did it was up in the mountains somewhere.

They didn't even make a photocopy of my ID- they simply had to look at it and sign a form confirming that I was eligible for the discount.

What are the prices like at base exchange? You don't pay sales tax there do you?

It would be nice for glock to engineer their .mil program through the exchanges.

I called Glock and they said it was extended to Prior military, just need a DD214 and I found a place a couple years ago who does it, but they are in north ga somewhere. I would have to call and check but I believe they said I could buy it from them and then transfer it to an FFL. But I would rather just drive somewhere and pick it up.

It is illegal to photocopy a military ID or CAC card under Title 16.  If caught, it is jail and a fine.
