I thought it did, but couldn't see the lug pattern.  I did't know those came with 8 lugs.  is that a convesion?

This one is a M101A2 box on a M101A3 frame. The M101A2 and M101A3 both come with that lug pattern. The M101A1 has the same pattern as the old M37 truck.......they cal it a BUDD wheel.

Interesting, but they look a little heavy for most Jeeps.  Any ideas on a weight?

The trailer the jeep is pulling is around 500 lbs.

The two I have are around 1,340 lbs

those smaller trailers are perfect for short wheel base jeeps.

of course there is always these options:

I found one at warner robins and have 210 bid on it right now autobid up to 260, which is probably too much to pay for one idk really, but the pic of the one with the jeep made me take the plunge theres a lot of work in there but looks pretty handy.

If I can fix one up as a nice clam-shell box trailer i can do partial DITY moves and make some bank

careful.  the ones with the jeeps are NOT the ones that Jack bought.  the ones Jack bought weight almost as much as a jeep!

There's a bantam trailer on Ebay in Brunswick. It looks a little rough. I've been wanting one for my Jeep but they're getting almost impossible to find.

PM me the auction link. The bids will go crazy about 20min before it end, so refresh the page often!

The ones I have are the M101 trailers. They can be towed good with a 1/2 truck. I wouldn't bid on a M105, they are huge and are meant to be pulled witha deuce.

For one, I don't have the money right now.

For two, I don't want to drive to Brunswick.

For three, There's no way I'd bid on that if I can't see it with my own eyes.

I'll find one one day.

I also though they looked heavy for a Jeep.

My Jeep has a 4.0 and I have to drive it like I'm pissed at it to haul a lightweight trailer loaded with one adult and one kids ATV.

Thats what I see them going for too. If you get one from a reseller you will pay between 800-1000 for a decent one.

If I can get one locally for 550 cash that has a very small amount of rust, would you do that vs. the auction? I heard the GovLiquidation auctions require alot of jumping through hoops.

It was easy to deal with them. You just have to make an appointment to pick it up within 10 day of the paid in full invoice.

Yeah, I like the green machines. I'm picking up an M35A3 soon. Got the EUC approval today. Will be grateful for the power(ish) steering.

Foreman2000 - not sure how far you are willing to go, but there is a guy in Central Georgia that has several nice trailers for sale. IM if you want more info.

I got the M35A3 off of GL.  I bid the week before on the same truck, but it got too rich for me. However, the guy who bid on it failed to pay for it and they relisted it.

Trailer info inbound.

How much do the title fees and other fees add up to on say a $400 trailer?

I don't know about title fees, but the total GL price will be the final bid, plus a 10% commission, and sales tax on both the commission and final bid.

So, on a $400 trailer, the final price is $470.80 in a county with 7% sales tax.

Got the A3 today. It has more surface rust than the A2 had, but it is not horrible or anything.

However, the cab interior is excellent. Plus, the automatic transmission makes driving that beast much easier. The power steering is a little better, but not as much of an improvement as I had hoped.

Overall, the automatic transmission alone makes it much better. I can focus more on steering into turns, etc.

I'll try to get a better picture later:

Also, I first thought that the truck markings indicated the Georgia AIR National  Guard's 116th Bomb/Air Control Wing (depending on time frame), but now am thinking it was the ARMY National Guard. Anyone have any more info on this?
