While about my travels I saw a brass 105mm shell gleaming at me while I passed a small yard sale today.  I stopped at the sale and perused about.  The shell had a $5 price tag, so it was definetely sold.  I then eyed a few ammo cans with one being very heavy.  The lady said "bullets in it" and she was right, 75 full 1952, .30 carbine stripper clips.  And for the tidy sum of $25, she threw in the shell because the bullets were so expensive.

Nice! I need to start checking out yardsales. Read about someone else picking up a saiga 12 gage for $150 at one.

Sure do, I'll save 500 rds or so for the "hoarding" closet.

Edit:  Oh I forgot to add that I passed on a cigar box wich contained a rusty Japanese Nambu in pieces for $40.

My dad found a 99% Remington 514 (.22LR bolt, single shot) at a yard sale for the hefty price of $20.00 the other day.
