Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - seasonal police officers...

does anyone know anywhere in GA or SC that has "seasonal" officer programs? I recieved an email from Ocean City, MD but that is pretty damn far for a 3 month internship with them. It seems like its mainly the beach/tourist city's are the ones that have this program.

Its not a big thing is Georgia.  You can try the Fulton Co Sheriffs office, they have a reserve program.  I know other states have a lot of part time and reserve law enforcement.

I think you'd have to be Post certified to have any active role. Otherwise you'd be useless in court and couldn't do much.
