Legislation is being passed to help eliminate the problem, including reduced LEGAL immigration-we are getting overcrowded as it is. I think if the people are gonna be here, then they need to be naturalized, as is .gov policy. It needs to be made next to impossible to flee back to Mexico after commtiing a crime. There have been too many cases locally where some illegals killed someone, and just disappeared back across the border. Also, I know of a guy that was deported after being caught selling drugs, and within 3 months he was back with new papers and a new name.

On the other hand, as A-Train said, there are some good folks here that are just trying to have a better life.

Part of the solution is on the shoulders of these people. If they want to stay, then they need to defeat the negative imagery coming from their own countrymen, and contribute, and put down those that don't contribute.

Same goes for welfare leaches and any other aspect of society that had a negative image.

Problem! Detain and deport! No extradition with Mexico. DREGS-stay home develop your own country -you have the same natural resources.  The problem with most of these folks here illegally is that they do not wish to assimilate into our culture, they wish to feed from it.  The second largest source of income to the Mexican economy (and we are talking Mexicans here because that is where the bulk, but not all, of the illegal aliens come from) is money sent to Mexico earned in the United States via illegal labor.  There is no incentive for the Mexican government to help us, because they are profiting from the problem.  There is no incentive for illegals not to come here, because they are being furnished maps by their government with which to circumvent our borders.  They disregard our laws and ignore our culture, for the most part not even making any attempt to learn our language, but instead, forcing more drain on government resorces by breaking laws and forcing the government to provide translators with which these people navigate OUR judicial system.  We pay taxes used to support the Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid systems, they pay nothing, however, they sap our already overburdened system further.  If they are not here legally, there is no reason for them to get insurance, a driver's license, etc., and as we have seen many times in the past, if they kill someone, they flee to their "home" country, another CLUE that they really have no desire to assimilate here, but merely wish to suck off the teat of America as long as it suits them.  I don't understand why there should be any disagreement on this issue.  If you pay taxes and you are here legally, then you should be able to understand the huge threat this problem is to our country.

Your as shallow as the kiddie pool at the YMCA.  These people arent the problem.  The problem is gov.org turning the other way allowing them to stay here illegal when as K said, they should be naturalized and pay taxes like the rest of us.  This would also resolve the issue of the criminal aspect because you could deport those who have records.  This could only benefit society.

For what? As rediculous as I think some of 006's comments are, to be considered a terroristic threat he has to be capable of carrying out the threat at the time he utters it, which is clearly not the case as well as another key thing-there was no specific threat other than "I'll get you".
I'll tell you exactly what will happen when it gets forwarded to detectives. It'll get shoved in a file cabinet and most likely never get worked on. Most every agency- particularly in the metro area, are short handed as it is and have to work on a triage type system. What I mean is that a lot of cases have to be prioritized before they are worked on and a case like this won't make the cut. Since the felony (Terroristic threats and acts) don't fit, anything else that it will fit under is consider a low end misdemeanor, which means it's not going to get worked on.

Your best bet is going to be to forward everything to a moderator (sorry book) or site staff and have him booted.

My intention, though not well iterated (I realize) now was to make the statement to ATrain, that if the Police have record of this (He did state that he has ATrain's number..... what does he mean? His address? His social? His Phone Number? or is it just an expression? We do not know.... It would seem prudent to me that if something were to mysteriously happen to him or his quite legal bride, it would be a matter of public record (aside form this forum)......

I am not a Lawyer, but I do know that if I were threatened that it would be a matter of record. When the detectives are questioning me, I could make the statement that I feared for my personal well being and my family was threatened, I defended myself to the best of my ability.

And yes I did post the COC so that a moderator might have a look-see at this situation....

In order for a business owner to deduct the wages he pays, whether it be to an American or an illegal alien, is to report those wages he paid to the employee on the Company's 941. As part of the 941 he remits the amount withheld from the employees paycheck. The amount withheld is the same thing that comes out of your paycheck. Federal income taxes, social security, and medicare.

The government is benefiting from these withholdings.....the money is withheld and sent to the feds, the govt keeps the money becuase these people don't file their 1040's. Would you like to know what would happen if they did files their 1040's? Well, since you asked.....the govt would have to give them a refund becuase they OVERPAID.

So, as you see. They do pay taxes, they do fund our society, and our society is benefiting not only from their cheap labor but their TAX payments.



Also, don't forget about the sales taxes, gas taxes, alcohol taxes, tobacco taxes, phone taxes, property taxes, and every other fucking tax that they have to pay to live in this country!

Most Illegals working for legit companies file with high exemptions, ie 14 dependents, married etc.  That way they maxmize their take home pay.  So in reality, they underpay taxes.  How do I know .... I had a candid talk with a guy that likely was Illegal but miraculously had a social security card that looked like the real thing.

For those that know me.....they know that I work 99% hispanic labor. I'm in the residential framing labor business. I have over 30 crews consisting of hispanics from several latin countries. I only hire legal guys with a Tax ID or SS# and who fill out my W9's and also carry workmans comp certificates. I'm sure somewhere I don't do everything by the book but I learn new stuff everyday and try to run a legit business. I do know that several of the guys that work on the crews are illegal,but the guys I deal with are legal. They are subcontractors.

I'm for the "Fair Tax". I am also for regulating immigration. I think that their needs to be a registration of illegals so that at least we know they are here. An employer should have to vouch for the illegals and sponsor them to be here. I need hispanics for my livelihood to carry on. I profit from their labor as they profit from the work I give them. I see no wrong in that. I do see wrong when they evade their taxes. The fair tax would fix alot of issues that deal with immigration and illegal activities of untraceable money. I would like to hear someones take such as Accountant's on this issue.

Accountant, I don't know if this is true, but I'm under the impression that a lot of the illegals are paid under the table in cash.  If this is true, then there is no witholding to go to the Guv'ment.  If someone is illegal, I don't see how an employer can collect taxes and send them to the Gov't if the employee doesn't have a tax ID number of some sort.  

Someone I know who runs a small business will pay the spouse or someone else the illegal knows who is legal so that it looks legit on the books.  

America is the greatest country because we have such a diverse population.  I'd like to see the illegals shipped back to where they came.  They can wait in line like everybody else, and come back when it is their turn.

I know I'm lucky as hell to have been born in the US and very thankful for it.

They can attempt to do this. If you claim more than 8 dependants on your W-4, you are required to provide the dependants social security number to the IRS. This must be done before you will be paid.

I don't want to get into the deails of the plan, becuase Neill needs his $19.95 to continue the fight, but I will say this; the Fair Tax is the best plan that has been discussed in a looooong time. It is too bad that it will never pass. The politicans will never give up their power.
