GA FFL Transfers - AR15.COM

How about making this a sticky?

Can we get a list of FFL's willing to do a transfer and what they charge? When I was in MI, the MI hometown board hooked me up with a great guy who only charged $15 for a handgun or a long gun from outa state. My two local dealers wanted $45 and $50 for a handgun. Kinda defeats the purpose of finding a deal online. Probably just what they were aiming to do.

I live in between Newnan and Peachtree City and haven't started looking in ernest but will need to do so in the next month. Should be taking delivery of two receivers by March.

I recently got my balls kicked for not "cleaning up" all the tacked threads we already have in the GA HTF.

Seriously, one of the things I am doing tomorrow is cleaning up and better organizing threads in the GA HTF. We will have a place for local FFLs though and services they offer.

AMEETEC is sending a 6.8mm SPC stripped lower to him. I can't get it through whitepages.com and a more detailed search from mapquest shows how to get there but no number.

PM'd GACOP. Right around the corner from me. Thanks for the info. Now if only I could find a club less than an hour drive from me. I really got spoiled living 5 min from my club in MI. Even the two closest DNR ranges are an easy hour from me.

I'll do them in the Augusta area for 20.00 as long as the buyer handles all of the business end of the transaction. I.E. I don't want to handle any of the money in a deal between parties. Also, I do not order firearms for people as there are too many people who make their living selling guns and I am not in business to compete with them.
