Sometimes I bitch about working 2 jobs until I have a day like today. I picked up a High Standard Supermatic Trophy model 104 from a customer that was selling some guns. He was asking $350, I offered $300 and he took it. I have never seen deeper, shinier bluing on a pistol before. Now the squirrels will tremble at the mention of my name.
  It was made in 1964. Only 2 years younger than I am. I think it's held up better. |
