Classes can vary according to student skill level.
Mike usually starts off with some basics, such as the correct draw and trigger manipulation. If I'm there he'll beat me up a little about sight acquisition.
He might cover stance if anyone needs some "correcting".
During his half-day classes we've done moving & shooting, multiple targets, reloads, clearing drills, strong hand only, weak hand only, close contact engagement, running the gun, snake drills, the box drill, etc. He always has an agenda but also modifies the class, mostly based on student skill levels.
He offers something for everyone.
Mike already covered the ammo, pistol, spare mags, holster & pouches. That's really all you need. If you are unsure about your gear, show up with what you've got and Mike (and others) will help you get going in the right direction. I like to bring extra mags so I'm not loading mags the whole time. (I'm a mag whore though. YMMV. If you don't have a boat load of mags don't sweat it. Bring what you've got.) Might want to bring some water, a hat and maybe even some sun screen.
