my friend is canadian, living here for the past 3 years and working here with a work permit.  he doesnt have a "green card" he has the work permit, i dont know the difference.

question:
can he legally own a pistol here?
can he legally own a rifle or shot gun here?
can he get a CCP here?

thanks for the link.  i went to the g'ville gun show today and asked the same question of one of the dealers, he wasnt sure so he called the instant id people (FBI).  they indicated in the case of my friend it was legal for him to purchase a firearm................
