Hey guys, so I was wondering if I could borrow some tools, time and help switching out barrels on my M4. I got a 14.5 1/7 with a Phantom I'm itching to put on in place of the 14.5 1/9 with Mini-Y Comp. But I lack the tools and am a little nervous about doing this the first time on my own. So, this brings me here. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I'll even give whomever helps the old barrel as a token of gratitude.

Thanks in advance,
Agnew out.

if you want to come out to the house I could do something this weekend.

And "what will YOU be wearing?"

I don't use receiver blocks, I do just like the GI manual says.  This runs contrary to ARFCOM SOP. Even use the GI barrel wrench tool. I figure if it worked for hundreds of thousands GI M16s, it is all right by me.

I do have proper machinest's hammers, though.
I even have a special rollpin hammer, it is made of aluminum and works far better than a steel hammer for roll pins.

Ifn those N Ga. boys let you down, give me a shout.  That is an easy swap if it is not a FF tube.

thank you very much gentlemen. It looks like CT and I are gonna get it done on the 2nd. Kind of a vote, re-barrel the upper and shoot at CE (tentatively) day.

Though I don't post much here, the responses I got just made me have a great sense of pride for the GA crew here. Thanks gentlemen for all of your offers!

Agnew out.

I'd be interested in the old barrel if you or the person that helps you can't put it to good use. I live in Grayson and I would have to have help changing it out as well, but I do have a reciever that need a new barrel.
