Hi all,

I've gotten the bug to build my own lower. Before I do I'd like to find a pistol grip that is adjustable in 3 axis (front/back angle, side-to-side angle and, rotation). In my miss-spent youth I broke my right forearm and have some limitations on mobility. Having the adjustments would ease proper position.

Any leads would be welcome.

I'm new to the board but not to shooting. FWIW, I live in Cobb about 3 miles east of The Big Chicken.

I haven't heard of anything like that off the shelf.

Looking at the way the grip attaches to the lower receiver methinks you'd have some mechanical challenges to work out.

Have you ever fired an AR to get an idea of how much adjustment would be necessary?

Welcome to the site/forum. I live a few miles E of the big chicken too.

Good luck, I've been playing with the AR system since 84 and that sounds like a custom job you've described.  And welcome to arfcom.

You might be better off looking at some of the space gun stocks.  They can made to allow you to cant, thus making it more comfortable.

Here is an Ironstone Competion butt stock, it is adj for  length of pull, weight, drop, and cant.  It doesn't require any modifications to the lower reciever.  The stock costs $350 btw and can be found at www.ironstone.us/

Here is rifle with the stock attached.

I'm located in Roswell.  Maybe 20 minutes from the Big Chicken.
