That deal going now on 3 like new Israeli 7.62 barrels for $100 looks like just the ticket for serious rockin and rollin.

Never seen that site.  Machine gun tactics have always been somewhat interesting to me.  Originally a part of the artillary, it is now just a squad support weapon.  When the military switched from M1 ball to M2 ball, they reduced the effective range for area targets by about 300 yds.  Had many of the crusty old machinegunners screaming at the time.

Of course, we now use a groundhog round in our MBR...........
