First, the Regular Guys get shitcanned. I started listening to 105.3 on the way home in the morning and have been enjoying the MJ Morningshow. Now......
[rant on] Goddamned Clearchannel changes 105.3 to a FUCKIN' SPANISH MUSIC CHANNEL. IT'S BAD ENOUGH WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH THESE ILLEGAL FUCKERS BUT NOW A GOOD TALK RADIO CHANNEL HAS TO BE CHANGED TO ACCOMODATE THEM!!!!!!!!! I guess it's CDs from now on in the morning. [rant off] Now you can go back to what you were doing.

Regular guys were canned a few months ago. Larry was recording a bit with a porn actress where they talked dirty to each other and he was going to play it backwards. They were recording it during a commercial break and a mic got left open.
 Clearchannel fired them for violating their "zero tolerance policy".

MJ was a piece of shit. part of the reason "real radio" failed is because they rolled the dice on that asshole and devoted 6 hours a day to him...guess what clearchannel...i hate him in the morning i still hate him in the afternoon. trying to ram that POS down my throat didnt work. if they had put kim peterson on in the afternoon things would have been different.

I like 640 on the drive to work in the morning, then some Boortz, maybe move over and listen to Glenn Beck, catch Rush on 750 at lunch, then complete the routine with a little Hannity and the Kimmer on the way home.
Good right wing material. I would hate to be lib in this town. I was at an outdoor concert in Acworth this past summer and someone told me Cobb county is the most right wing county in the county!! |

Y'all will be plased to know that I just read that Air America with Al Wanker will soon be on the air in Atlanta. I guess he's still got a hard on for Boortz, so he followed him back to Atlanta, since he enjoyed stalking him at the Democrap Convention so much. |

I found out about that this morning from listening to a real radio talk show station, WSB 750.
 Neal Boortz was talking about first thing this morning. I tried to listen to the stuff but found their talk show host either annoying, i.e., Ferrelle (sp?) or just boring, i.e., Snit Show (sp?). Listen to something educational!, Boortz, Rush, Hannity...flip back and forth between Hannity and the Kimmer to catch a News Maker line every now and then.

Depend on it! btw defilade1, Rush isn't on 750 at noon or 750 at all I don't think unless he comes on after 5pm, I believe that's Clark Howard or News at noon. Cant remember the last time i listened to music on the radio, seems so 'old school' these days. |

I feel your pain. Actually, it started out as a 80's station, with MJ on in the morning. I hated it when they went to talk radio. But then they brought MJ back, now they decide to change the format again. It's not a wonder the station isn't making no money.

The funny thing about Neal is he'll admit when he's doing a bad show. how I've been listening to him on & off since the "I-20 rapist" incident back in '92. A co-worker was tuned into Neal & he was talking about how great it was that a woman pulled a gun on the rapist and he fled. I kinda got hooked on talk radio that day. I started listening to Rush again after 9/11. Scott |
