It's no Eastman's.....it can vary. I mainly only go to it if I need ammo from GA Arms.

The RRA guy is usually there with stripped AR lowers, as well as the guy with cheap cases of WOLF.
That guy has stripped Oly lowers. He also is selling Hi-Cap models of the Romanian WSAR-10 for $299.
They are nice, EOD picked one up at the show last weekend.

Are there alot of people there who do private sales.  I have a problem with registaring my rifles.  I don't like to but I would like to pick up a lower for a build.

It all depends, yes I have seen tables with private sales and people walking around to do
a private sale. Much like any gun show, can't make any promises.

Can't make this one. I'm okay on ammo and still have a build project going. So I'm gonna hold out for the next one--mid-December, an Eastman show--but will be suffering from gun show withdrawl by then and will have no choice but to make it.

Let us have a show report, though, okay?

What time do the doors open on Sunday?

If anyone wants to meet at the show on Sunday, I'm game.

Well, I was there from 9:30 till 10:30.
Nobody else I knew was there, so I did my shopping and was done.

1 500 round ammo can of 9mm target ammo (115 grn FMJ)from GA Arms for $60.
1 brass muzzle protector for my Kleen Bore Rod $3
and finally
1 AR carbine legnth Advanced Armament alloy handguard rail for my forward grip from the
AR Bunker $23.99

If anyone is looking to put together a cheap truck AR-15, there is a vendor selling a
slightly used complete Century Arms lower for $195.
A1 stock and A1 pistol grip. It's in good shape and you might could talk him down on it.
Too bad I'm broke till Friday or I'd of taken it.

The $299 Hi-Cap versions of the WSAR-10 are there, plus the RRA guy (ton80) and some of the small
regulars you see at the Eastmans. It was bigger than it was last Saturday up in McDonugh.

If I would have known you all were gonna go Sunday, I'd have paid the extra $2 for the 2 day pass....

They open at 10am, until 5pm.
What about 10:30am?
We can meet by the entrance.  I'll try to find my NRA black hat to help identification.

Maybe 12:30. I just got back from a Low Light shooting class out at South River Gun club. I'm a little tired. Shooting for almost six hours tends to tire me out

12:30 is kind of difficult.  Lunchtime.
I can go by 1:30pm.  What about that?

Guys I just got back from the show. I was there from 10:30 - 12:30 . Im 5'7" short Black hair( Military cut ) and had on glasses.I also had on a " In Range " Class 3 manufactor grey T shirt. I got a SA 1911A1 from Classic Pawn for $370.Heck for as much as I have bought from them they should have gave it to me.Got two brand new USGI 45 mags still in the wrap for $10 ea. Kinda funny. The old gentle man wanted $15 a piece. I told him I would give him $10 . He said $25 for both. I said I will give you $25 for two mags and a bore lite.$10 + $10 + $5=$25 He said OK. Then He thought about it while getting me a bag and said SHIT I just gave you Bore light for free practicaly.Heck Im not makeing anything off this. His partner got to laughing his ass off.Now the exchange of money and product had already taking place. I reached in my pocket and pulled out a ONE dollar bill and handed it to him and said Im not leaving here with out you making something off me. His partner bustout laughing. He told his buddie to shut the Hell up and started laughing his self. Good day at the funshow, WarDawg

I stopped there briefly just for ammo.  I just got a pistol and wanted ammo for it.  So, not much money left for anything else, despite some nice stuff I saw.

Lots of ammo offers, like I seldom saw in this show.  Also stopped by Classic and got a couple boxes from them.  $ 7.90 for fifty .40 FMJ Winchester was not a bad deal.  Also got a couple shotshells from CCI just to see how they perform.

Anyways... saw many offers, which suggests a market yet to recover.  A couple guys I talked with complained of weak sales.  Let's see how the next Eastman will be.  I saw there's one scheduled for Dec 13/14 in Gwinnett.

I wish I could've made it. I didn't wake up until after 3pm. I you ever get a chance to take a Surefire Low Lite training class, it is a blast. Running around in the dark shooting pistols, shotguns and AR15's. Doing house clearing drills, shooting steel targets,etc... Only down side was I'm so sore today I can't move

I can imagine.  I took Erik's IPSC class also at South River.  Two days shooting pistol, shotgun (a 12ga) and rifle (in my case an AR-10).  I highly recommend it.

There's another Gun Show in December 13/14, if I'm not mistaken.  It's the Eastman's.

Cheers!

No, I didn't get the 9mm NATO, which they do have as well.
I got the 115grn FMJ, FPS:1150.
It's cheap, clean and great for punching paper.

haven't seen any of the 9mm battlepacks lately so i bought a couple of the walmart 9mm and .223 "value packs". couple of the guys here say they are not hot, but living in the sticks you do what you have to do to get cheap ammo.
went to a couple of shows in Macon and Perry last year, but none of them were very good.
friend of mine took me to the range today and brought his P9, P9s, P88, P99, P7, P7-13 and some kind of custom bull barrelled 597 with an expensive scope.   here is the kicker though---HE BROUGHT ALL OF THE AMMO AND INSISTED THAT I FIRE ALL OF HIS GUNS A LOT.   YEEEHA! what are friends for!
