I'm trying to figure a way to turn the caps so that when they are flipped open, they won't be in my line of sight. I'm thinking that the knobs might need to be rotated in the 12 o'clock and 3 o'clock positions? Where do you fellas rotate them to be outta the way?

Depending on how close the Aimpoint is to the iron sight I like the knobs at 12 and 3 and the caps set to flip down.

I do both mine at 6 oclock so when flipped down they are not in the way

I mounted it at the 12 & 3 o'clock position. Then rotated the caps to flip down. This works well and should do it for me. Thanks for the input guys.
