Good morning everyone!

My daughter is competing in the AAU Junior Olympic Track Meet this coming weekend and we’ve never been to NC.

We land super early Friday morning (1230 am) and will have most of the day Friday to see some stuff.

Greensboro appears not too far away from the coast so we might check that out.

Any good places to eat or things to see in the area?

Thanks!

Greensboro is 3.5-4 hours from the coast.

I hear the science and nature museum/zoo is nice. I live a few miles away and have never been. Non-member admission is close to $50 IIRC. The park area next to it is decent.

B. Christopher's is a nice, upscale steak and seafood restaurant downtown.

Otherwise, there isn't much interesting about the place.
