Went to BassPro and bought me one of them injector marinade kits and tried it out.
One on the left is HOT and Spicy butter, one on the right is lemon garlic butter and the one on the bottom is hickory grill seasoned.
All I can tell you is that stuff was GOOOOOOOOD.

Next week I'm gonna try me some baby back ribs. I'll let you know how that goes

Next time try a plain ol non injected chicken.  

Get some heavy duty aluminum foil, wrap some wood chunks in it (I like apple), poke a few holes in the aluminum foil, and set the chunk pack on the coals.  

Use indirect heat to cook the chicken.

I believe those chicken look a bit off, might be unsafe for human consumption.  Therefore, I volunteer to test each chicken personally to insure that it is propperly cooked.

It's for the children.
