My 19YO cousin just finished Boot at Paris Island and is on her way to Camp Lejune for MCT school. (MOS training I think). I'm in Durham so at least she'll have someone close enough for weekend getaways if they let her. I know alot of you guys are stationed there. Can someone with some stripes make sure she's squared away? She and I really never had much to talk about, but now she's always asking me about my time in the Army. Pretty cool.
I'm proud of her.

Is she headed to MCT over on Camp Geiger?

Know what her MOS is going to be?

I've got a couple of friends one who work on Geiger and the other on Camp Johnson where most of the WM's go for MOS training.

She's supposed to be some type of secretary or document specialist. Not sure of her MOS numbers but I'll find out. I'll let ya know the details. thanks.

I see now, she is going to MCT (Marine Combat Training) over on Camp Geiger.

I want to say that last between 25-30 days, then she will go to Camp Johnson for admin school.

Her MOS should be some thing in the 01xx field.

I think she will be ok, since she will got to MCT with all the other WMs that were with her in boot camp.

I see these new Marines all the time over on Geiger, they really look out for one an other.
