i like my guns to be registered to me but people do it here in my part of nc all the time. i just like to make sure the weapon isn't stolen before i buy.

How is going through a ffl going to make sure the firearm is not stolen? The serial no. is logged but it's not checked to see if stolen. |

I haven't had to do this in a while, but we used to call
the sheriff's dept & let them run a check on the serial # to see if it had been reported stolen. I would assume you could still do that. Or ask someone you know in LE if they will do it for you... Johnny C! |
