Biden's America has struck again. The Karen groups on the book of faces are all crying about it. I never could have imagined a world where the government said it's too hot, we need to shut your power off. We are living in it though.

Today I learned: Evergy is the government too.

Who knew?  Obviously not me.

I guess its time to dig out the old military 3Kw gen-set I have and get it hooked up. I haven't heard anything about rolling blackouts here where I live. But one never knows.

Evergy is not the government, though sometimes their decision making rivals governmental logic.  In Evergy's defense though, the Top Men in the federal government are all about killing fossil fuel base load generation and bringing online more green energy while simultaneously trying to replace internal combustion vehicles with EV's.  Coal and natural gas plants are being decommissioned and "replaced" with wind and solar that can't hack it, all while the .gov is doing everything it can to advance the EV's that will make the situation worse.

Nor I, but there were some blackouts earlier this week from a transformer failing at a substation.

Luckily I moved out of Evergy coverage this year.

Yup.
