I'm attempting to build new threads, for our MO specific options. I'm copying it from older threads, so if posters didn't update their info it could be wrong. I set this thread not to archive, and I'm going to link it in the tacked thread.
This is from THE_KID_SHOOTER, in 2008; Crossfire in Independence MO check out their website at www.crossfirerec.com The only problem is that it's a pistol range and rifles under 2000 fps, so no 5.56 or 7.62. The range also offers CCW classes that are extremely good. They bring in Derek Ward who acually is the attorney who wrote the CCW bill and you get 3 hours of classroom time with him. This is a post from druch, in 2010; I pulled this list out of the archives and cleaned it up. I am not sure what ones are still open or what news ones there is. If you let me know I will keep the list updated. 67 Gun Club, Inc., 1678 Henrich Rd., Doe Run, MO 63640. It's private, with an extremely limited membership of just 175. Basically, you have to wait for somebody to fail to renew to get in. As I recall they have: 50 yard rimfire range, 50 yard pistol range, an approximately 200 yard rifle range that can stretched out to 400 yards if nobody is using the other ranges and a combined skeet/trap field. They also have some sort of archery set up and a fishing lake. |

Correction to your United Sportsman's Club entry: The rifle range is 190-yards. You have it listed as 500. There's also a 50 yard utility/rimfire range. The pistol ranges are 50 yrd bullseye and a falling plate/barricade range.
You don't seem to have California Shooter's Club. It's private, with an extremely limited membership of just 175. Basically, you have to wait for somebody to fail to renew to get in. You missed several MDC shooting ranges. I'm too lazy to put the list on here (also I am at work), but here is a link to a list of all of them and a tool to find one nearest you. All of them are free except-Henges, Busch, Lake City, Parma Woods, and Andy Dalton.
https://mdc.mo.gov/conservation-areas-search?title=&field_county=All&field_geofield_lat_lng_proximity%5Bsource_configuration%5D%5Borigin_address%5D=&field_atlas_activities%5B0%5D=3138&field_atlas_activities%5B1%5D=3138 ETA let me add for the search feature. You have to select advanced option and check shooting ranges, and you can even narrow it down to archery, pistol, rifle, and/or shotgun. |

Nice; thank you. I don't think I'm going to add any more to the OP though, and just let the replies be the add-ons. I can't delete comments, so it would be repeating them anyway.

The other day I went to Reifsnider out in Warrenton. The first time I heard of this place was last year when my son and his friends went. It is not manned, which I usually* prefer.

I'm trying to locate Bullseye Rod and Gun Club in Fenton. I have searched Google and while I can find references to it, including this thread from Arfcom, I can't find any more info. Does it still exist? I guess I could call the number, but I hate talking to people.
ETA - just called. Got a "subscriber is not in service" message. |

I bought it on the EE here. It came with that knob. Not sure if that was something the last owner put on there or if it was an option back in the day. Regardless, the idea was that you could turn it without a bullet tip, just with your fingers. I didn't care for it, as it didn't click very tightly and had some wiggle. I have since replaced it with a traditional A1-type wheel. Can you say what membership dues are? If not public, can you send me a message? Dues are currently $220 a year, there may be an initiation fee, though. I really don't remember. I've been a member roughly 15 years. Also, are there any other requirements to join? Not particularly sure what's going on with the Pleasant Hope range. Went by yesterday to see if it was open again, there aren't even signs up now that there was a range there & the road is closed down.

The Pleasant Hope range is most likely closed forever.
I've already given the conservation department an earful about closing it and now fucking around with "maintenance" at Andy Dalton and the lack of transparency, progress, and alternative solutions such as partially opening the range. I've corresponded with the head shooting range guy in Jeff city still no word on what was wrong or why the range needs to be closed for months with no work being performed. |

View Quote You are 100% wrong. Pleasant Hope will eventually be reopened, and work is going on at Dalton as I type this. People bitch, but there is a reason for everything, and unless you want ranges shut down for good you will just have to be patient. MDC is doing its best to open the ranges, but things have to be done correctly to keep them from closing. The folks in charge of the ranges want them to be open and used by everyone and different ranges have different needs. No one at MDC in the know wants a range to be permanantly closed-I CAN PROMISE THAT. A perfect example is the Perry shooting range. It went from a 3 position range to a 9 position range at a different spot on the Perry area, it would have been easy and cheaper to just shut it down because the old one flooded all the time. Dalton hasn't been closed for "months", it was closed on 4/15, work started on 5/23, design on the work being done started on 4/19; if you know anything about government projects that is essentially light speed (many an evening and a few weekends were spent on the design). The work to be done is significant and major and MDC is pulling people from all around to do the work-even some primarily office personnel. |

Practical Tactical is a pretty nice indoor range in Lagrange. Northeast MO. We also have a free 25-100 yard outdoor range at Deer Ridge conservation area. Deer Ridge also has a free trap range and archery range.
Just don't bring your .50bmg to Deer Ridge. To quote the conservation officer-"It’s not illegal to shoot that here, but you boys can't shoot that here" The range is always open and free, no supervision or RO's, but it does get pretty busy right before Deer season. Most of the time they have a bin with free targets. |

Having to fucking pack all your stuff down to the target and back so you didn’t get your shut stolen sucked. Dudes down there getting drunk and throwing their beer cans to shoot on the shotgun side and then leaving their trash-seen it. People blasting into the woods by the parking lot instead of waiting. Fuck all that- I’d rather pay for a manned range or just wait till I’m at the farm. |

Has Andy Dalton gotten rid of their “no holstered pistols rule?” I voluntarily left there in 2014 after my t-shirt rode up and exposed my concealed pistol and got told to take it off by an RSO.
I don’t shoot at ranges unarmed, too many nutters out there. |

I haven't seen anyone mention Indian trail conservation area. Salem Mo highway 19. Not far from cherryville.
25,50,100and200 yard ranges. Three concrete shooting tables for each range. No shotguns because people blow away the 2x4s holding the targets. Public restroom. Its a nice place. |

Perry Range should be opening back up next week.
