For anyone in the Central Eastern MO area (Old Monroe) ...

My daughter’s school started a new Trap team this year. How many schools do you hear doing that these days?

The kids have a fundraiser for the team on June 12 at Black Hawk Range in Old Monroe. Registration at 9. Go hot at 10am.

Come out and have some fun shooting Sporting Clays and support the kids!

This school is awesome. On April 19th which fell on a Monday (every Monday they bring in a guest “Virtue Speaker) we had an Appleseed Liberty Seed presentation.

We’re trying to do it right. Come out and support us if you can!

Is this suitable for absolute beginners? Or do you need some experience?

I’d say if you have some experience with Trap or Skeet you will do ok.

If no shotgun sport experience it would be a very frustrating day.

Being totally transparent. Some may disagree and say come on out and have a good time but I’d want at least one round under my belt so I knew the rules, basic concept, etc.

Wish this was closer. I can clean some clays with my 12" Remington Model 11.
