I was finally able to get out this morning. Heard one Gobbler, but he wasn't budging from his spot. Saw a couple of hens. That's it. I've only had one friend go out and get one so far. Thinking it may be an odd year because of the weather.

My buddy got one opening day, he was surprised to get one- I think it was like 31 degrees for and he said it was his coldest spring kill.

No, we didn’t, weather sucked Monday and Tuesday. First time turkey hunting, didn’t know I needed to bring my winter hunting gear. This weather has been for shit.

I've been a few times where I got cold, mostly because of the wind though. Thursday it was 29 when I got to my spot. Left my insulated and waterproof boots in the truck, and wore my non insulated, non waterproof hikers instead. Not thinking about the fucking frost. Part of the reason I called the hunt was because I thought my feet were getting frostbite.

I'm skunked so far.  I heard several, but couldn't get anything to come to me.
