Yea, Ive been seeing reports all night tonight of folks wrecking and 67 South somewhere below Farmington is or was shut down...

I walked out side for a min earlier, even my gravel is slick...   I'm sure it'll be gone late morning, I hope so, I have a few errands to run..

Fredericktown and Farmington were terrible. 30 minute commute turned into 5 hours

KC actually did a good job of prepping the main roads today. I had no issues what so ever. Luckily I don't have to take the highways to get to the day job. I29 and I35 were a cluster-fuck today.

Also MoDOT called about 7:00. Ordered a Fan hub, fan blade and radiator. I knew what happened, but I asked anyways. Just what I thought. Fan hub failed and went through the radiator. Somewhere around Lee's summit there's a shit ton of coolant on the road stopping the ice build up.

I was sliding home early as it was starting, I didn't realize it was that bad until friends and family were texting to see if I was ok, and/or to complain about not getting to where they were going for hours.
Yea, I don't watch the news on Friday evening, I play with the dogs, turn up the music, and drink some beers but, I'm sure the ice was all over the news on a continuous loop.

Took me an hour to get from Bowles to 141 on I-44wb.  I normally would have taken the back roads, but I was driving a brand new truck that I just picked up......safer to sit and wait.

Yea I was lucky, I worked from home Friday...  I would have hated to come across 72 from Cape/ScottCity in that...

We had friends that work up around Bonneterre and did get down this way till after 10...

You live in the area???

Took me about 5 hours to make it home. At one point I thought I was stuck around Weldon springs MO.

Gave up trying to get onto 70 from 270... 370 was a skating rink instead.

Tomorrow might be fun too.

Mid-MO was all kinds of messed up on the roads.  I left work early so I could be sure to be home to get my kids.  According to the traffic app on my phone, Friday around 4-6 pm I-70 was backed up from west of Booneville to almost St. Louis.

Yeah, I tried to drive to KC Saturday morning to meet a home inspector at a house my daughter is buying.  Hwy 70 came to a stop at mile marker 31, I turned around drove back to STL and hit black ice at Concordia and wrecked my truck.  Fun day!
