Your going to destroy the value of those magazines if you refinish them.  You better keep them the way they are, or you'll never be able to get anything for them if you ever decide to sell them.

That was a joke....  I'm kidding, but there are those that believe what I was saying.

Refinishing HK mags:

1. List on EE
2. Purchase P-mags in desired colors

The wear shows character!  Leave 'em as they are, unless they're rusty, or got pink paint on em or something.

Better yet...you need to go kick them up and down your driveway a few times, ya know, to give them that Battleworn!(tm) look!

Thanks for all the help

I actually got these two HK mags for FREE!  There is a thread over on TFL.com called "Pay it forward" where members put up gun stuff they no longer need / use and ship it to you on their dime...

Anyway, I somehow ended up with these HK mags and Im not complainin!  The dude that "PIF'ed" them had painted them desert tan.  The tan color was pretty worn, so I just took a Scotch Brite pad to them last night.  No spray paint or any BS like that... I gotta say they look pretty damn good for FREE HK mags.

I didn't know they were so "special" until I Googled them last night.  Maybe I'll send 'em off to get Chrome plated

I like that idea!  Whats a fair asking price for a couple of lightly used HK 30rd mags?

You can barely give them away.

Well, if you got them for free as part of a pay it forward deal....aren't you supposed to give them away if you aren't going to use them?  Karma frowns on using charity for profit, ya know!

Man, talk about a moral delima  Does this mean that I either have to keep them for the rest of my natural life... or give them away for free.  Hmmm, thats a tough one.

Awww, screw it.  They'll be posted in the EE if anyones interested

Just kiddin! (kind of)
