Besides C&S, are there any dealers in the StL area that carry a decent supply of 5.56? I am looking primarily for M193 spec in case and 1/2 case quantities.

I've never actually bought any of my 5.56 locally, I buy all my stuff off the web/mail order.

You could try Nassau (sometimes have surplus) or Bass Pro (somtimes carries Q313, both in St. Charles, but you'll likely find better deals online. Most online places will deliver without a signature and some don't require a photocopy of your driver's license.

There used to be a shooting range in Bellville,ILL that sold ammo but I do not know if they still do. A local area group buy on a pallet would be great if enough people would be interested.

you might try Graff's in St Charles,I've found lots of bargains out there. They sometimes buy out a store that is closing and pass along the savings

How many cases to a pallet? I know two other guys that would be interested in a case or two each depending on the ammo and the price - XM193, Q3131, Q3131A.

That's a residential address according to google maps. The website only shows components, no ammo. I may give them a call to verify.

I'm going to C&S tomorrow, will report back.

Just back from C&S all they had was about 3/4 case of S&B. It was $4.50/20 but they gave me the case price of $215 for what was left of the case. So they are currently out but expect more next week - not sure what the brand will be.

Last time I was at Nassau, they had a few 500 rd boxes of Federal .223 for $109. It was like $113~$115-ish with tax.
