while I had to miss the most recent CMMG shoot, I had a good excuse.  Most of the following PDogs were shot w/ a .223 and the effects were devistating.  My .17 hmr shots were not quite as dramatic.  We were also charged by a 3 to 3.5ft prairie rattler and were forced to defend ourselves.  Soem of you may think that this is cruel but these were obviously quick clean kills.  The alternative is to poison the pdogs and they die a slow horrible death.

Where did you shoot?  I've been wanting to do some praire dog hunting, but don't exactly want to drive to South Dakota or something to do it.  I hear there are some places out in Kansas...I'd really like someplace nearish Kansas City, someplace that would be a decent weekend trip.

Great pictures Scott.

My daughters loved the PDog video of your last shoot.  They were ready to go shooting PDogs after watching you guys catapult the PDogs from one hole to the next.

By the way, I need to return the videos to you soon.

Are you going to make it to the next CMMG shoot in Oct?  I will be in Mexico most of Oct except the second week.  Hope the shoot falls that week.

I wouldn't have killed the snake, but the PDs look good.
