Hey I have 5 more 4X4 posts to warm up the rifles up with at the September shoot!  I know it is a "waste" of ammo, but damn it is fun!  

The 1919 gets a special more challenging target!

I will change out for a second round for everyone who has a 36" 4X4 post with him or her too!

(hummm…one is still standing from the last shoot…)

We paired up and placed the posts at about 25-30 yards.  One thing I can say is it is harder than it sounds.  I was nervous when I pulled my last mag, but the damn thing fell!

So far the teams are:
Metalman and myself
RstienB and Don  (Rob no cooking any more rounds off on that red hot CETME!)
D8 you are in your own class

Landscape timbers are much cheaper
And as much as I want to "clear the woods" I won't be able to make the spetember or the october shoot. I will be on vacation for two weeks, yup, starting the 18th and ending the 1st...Damn..

 What can I say.. 158 rounds of .308 in under 10 minutes will heat up any weapon a little.heated

I have cut down MANY BIG trees with the 1919 and it doesnt take long, or many rnds either. Just cut one down this weekend at the range, about 40 ft tall and 2 ft diameter took about 100 rnds. Im in!

You missed it, it took me exactly 4 seconds to cut down the 4x4 and everyone else about 2 mins or so, i cut mine 3x's before i ran out of 4x4 and sat down and waited for everyone else to finish, and i didnt have a partner either.

   Are you going to rent the 1919 out this time since you have more ammo? I'm sure there will be a few people that would love to see what a blast it is to shoot.

Yeah ill rent it out, .50 cents a rnd. I just got 2 tons of ammo the other day, so i shouldnt run out. Its a BLAST to shoot!

Are we expecting more people this time then last? I enjoyed meeting all the good people and want to meet more and see more toys! What time is it STARTING?

C'mon, i want to compete against that saw with my 1919. Lets see who can cut lumber quicker.
