The boards have been down for a while, I just wanted to assure everyone that we are still on for the Saturday shoot.

Will be there. What time should I plan on arriving to help set up? Aside from lawyers(Me, at least), guns and money what else should I bring? (sorry, could not resisit the reference to Warren Zevon

BTW, we might want to consider getting everyone or at least those who would like to name on a list so if something like the AR15 crash happens again we can get hold of each other.
BTW, anyone like my overly long run-on sentence?

I could setup a mailing list.
That would also help the people who don't come to ar15.com on a regular basis informed about our events and scheduals.
I also have a domain name I could donate for a website. mokanshooter.com Registered and setup on my server at home, but never did anything with it.

BTW, we have a slightly modified scoring system for each COF for this shoot. Let's just say that for one COF, you've got a smaller kill zone to work with. Email Imbroglio if you require further training...

AND and as a bonus, a 10 sec. time deduction per course if you run it with a costume.

This doesn't count if you are Duke-Nukem, because everyday is Halloween for him.

sorry guys whis i could be there, but have a family memebr that is doing to well and i cant make it. i gave jeff from CMMG the last shoots VCD for you guys so they people that wanted the vcd its going be there. i have 10 copies there were 6 people that wanted them so thats 4 extra. so please see Jeff for the cd. hope you have fun tommarow. I was all ready to go, looking forward to it all week, planning what rifles to bring and showing off my new compensated 400 CorBon 1911...

... then I remembered yesterday that I had scheduled my vasectomy for today. I just got back from the procedure, and I'll be spending the weekend taking it easy and putting ice bags on the boys.

Apologies to everyone

- I'm really sorry and very bummed that I'll be missing it. Please believe that I would be there if I hadn't been so stupid about the scheduling.

Now Chris, how small is small?? I plan to carry my FAL tomorrow, but if the kill area is really small I may have to fall back on my Bushy DCM gun .... :)

Shit, I should make you shoot at a kill zone half the size of the rest of us...

No, it's not that small. Let me rephrase myself, for one course you will be limited to one vital area for a kill.

Chris, I will bring you some zero targets that you may find useful for future COF. Put one of this target 50 yards downrange and things will get very-very interesting. No reactive target here, but it will raise the bar for all of us ...

Allan will bring a whistle, an authentic WW2 D.I. whistle.

I can't make it either. Gearing-up for the CCW class next weekend, so I'm gonna work. Then I won't have to be at work on the 11th!

Oh yeah, I will be bringing a bunch of B-27 targets so all you that haven't taken the CCW class can see what you will be shooting at.
DK-Prof, dude. You have my most extreme sympathies, that has to hurt...
BaNo, damn good idea about the website. I know Hkocher hasn't the time to keep up with MoDCC.com but if you could that would be great. If you would like some help with it I am sure I can talk Kudra18 into helping, after all she does design websites. She says she could set up a user ID/Password area if we want to keep our business away from public viewing.
Mousegun, the vital area for your targets will be oreo cookies, I was thinking aspirin tablets but I figure you need somewhat of a chance. You will also be single loading for each shot.

FINALLY, since this is the HALLOWEEN shoot, I would heartily suggest everyone who can bring a camera, crazed loonies running about with assault rifles in gawd-only-knows what outfits ought to be worth at least a few snapshots.

Guys I'm not going to make it to this one, I'm going to take Morgan to the NASCAR race at Kansas Speedway on Saturday instead. I'll miss the zany-ness of this scenario and I'll miss the cameraderie. Bano and Gary, if someone wants to help me out with updates on the webpage, and to make it look better that would be great. I don't have any webskills, so once my trial copy of Dreamweaver ran out, the webpage was pretty much stuck as it is...

I'll be showing up at the range around 9-9:30 to set up a bunch of steel targets on the 25yd-50yd ranges for all to plink on. As I will be fine tuning my SAR-1 to my liking before the shoot.
I'll have a 5 pole tarp/roof/thingie I'll bring, as well as some folding chairs.
I can tpe targets or do whatever is needed tomorrow.
Look for the angry longhair!!!! HAHAHAAHHAHAH!!!
