I'm really glad that you and your family are happy here!
I moved here with my parents in 1978. None of us thought that we would be here this long, but we found that Alabama is a good place to live and raise your kids. Just don't tell the leftists. I don't want to see my Alabama get Kalifornicated. |

Unfortunately, concerning the influx of leftists...based on some of the folks I've seen in downtown Birmingham and Huntsville it looks like more than few have already made their way here.

Gentrification of certain areas in Birmingham. The craft brewery scene is bringing them in around there. Look at the Avondale park area, about a decade ago you wouldn’t have been in that area after dark. |
