So who is going to get this? I think Mo Brooks is the frontrunner at present but does he have enough pull in lower Alabama? Any dark horses or unannounced yet?

He has been on a local talk radio show in Monthuggery a couple of times this week. He has sounded very articulate and well-read on practically every subject matter that he was asked. The female candidate (Blanchard?) was on the same station last week. Although she sounds "smart", her experience is more ambassadorial and less legislative, plus she doesn't have a network of congressional contacts as extensive as Mo. Maybe instead, she could be Mo's replacement in the House, and gain needed experience and contacts. JMHO, YMMV.
