Y'all can stop furiously debating within yourself about whether or not to buy one...they sold out a few hours after the email was sent.  I called an hour before I got off of work and he said they were all gone

My ever so subtle way of letting you all know they're back in stock.

They've got about 30 left, you can call and they'll put your name on one.

Yup, $995 each.

Copying this from the General AR forum:

I bought my first ever AR back in June, it was a CMMG M4LE.  I sold it shortly afterwards and bought a BCM middy upper/lower.

Well, today I decided it was time to extend the family, so with my wife's blessing...

And with Big Brother

I plan on having fun with one of them and the other two will be safe queens (or possibly one will go to my dad, not sure yet).  All 3 of the serial #'s are sequential.

I have a question though.  Being still relatively new to AR15's I think my mind is playing tricks on me.  It looks like the FSB on two of them look ever so slightly canted although I'm new enough that I may be wrong on it.  Is there a way to measure to see if it's straigh?

The third rifle really baffles me though...there is a small chunk taken out of the FSB:

I don't think it will affect function at all and I know that Colt's don't win beauty contests but should I be concerned/upset that my brand new Pony has said chunk taken out of it?

Thanks!

My co-worker has his name on one of them and says he won't be able to get it if anyone is interested.
