Can someone give me a run down on Louisiana NFA laws?  Someone told me there is a state registration along with the ATF registration. Can anyone tell me the process or give contact info?

Yes you have to register it with the state. Link to form. Fill out in duplicate and mail in.
You can also go Here. Click on left side where it says applications and forms. Click concealed handgun and other forms, scroll down a bit till you see application to register firearm. You can fill it out and print and mail.

I did an SBR and when you mail your forms to the ATF you have to send a copy of the state approval too.
