Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 1911 parts locally

I was wondering if anyone knows of a gun shop in the North Alabama area that has good selection of 1911 replacement parts (Chip McCormick, Wilson Combat) i.e. grip safety, mag wells, hammers, triggers, etc.  I've got a few days off work and a new SA G.I that needs some customizing. I usually order off the internet, but with only 5 days off for the next month and a halfThanks

Sure don't. I was looking for a replacement sight for a 1911A1, best I ccould do locally was a 10 days at JCs, and it was ridiciously expensive. Ended up making and installing my own. I need some reloading stuff and and dealing with the same problem.
