i'm always lookig for a deal.
i was thinking this summer we might have a "JUNK SYMPOSIUM" at one of the shoots. everyone bring their gear and trade/sell it during the shoot. |

Looks like we've got enough interest to try it out for a while and see what happens. Any preference whether or not this is run thour private E-mails or the ARFcom mail server (if possible)?
Be looking around for items you want to post. Please divide them into three categories to make it simple the first time: 1. Firearms 2. Firearms Accessories/Firearms Related 3. Other More organizational details to follow later... -Hobbit |

it'll likely have to be done through private email.
all it really takes is one person setting up the distrobution list in their email program and collecting the addresses. i don't think the arfcom system will do that. <i could be wrong> |

It would be a lot simpler for me to do it through private E-mail simply because of my familiarity with the system I've got. No need to make it more complex than it has to be.
I'm headed to New Mexico at the end of this week for a few days, so I'll plan to pursue it when I get back. I'll send it out before the end of the month. To get on the list: IM me your personal E-mail address here at ARFcom, and I'll put you on the list for the initial mailout. You'll get a personal Email from me with the subject line "ARFcom List". When you get this, you can send me your list (this will allow me to cut-and-paste into the big mailout), and I will compile things and send them back out when we get enough in to justify it. -Hobbit |

As people IM me, I am sending confirmation. If you've IM'd me and not gotten a confirmation, please IM again. Please refrain from sending your lists with your IM- I need it to come as an Email for formatting reasons.... you know who you are! This looks like it could be a lot of fun to me. I know that somebody here in AL has the stuff I'm looking to buy and needs the stuff I want to sell or give away. It's a little early yet for a couple of reasons-
I'm still getting a lot of responses (five just today), and I'm going to New Mexico at the end of the week and won't be able to do anything until I get back.
