Just found out i'll  be down there for a couple weeks in feb/march.

Any good places to shoot? Any good sporting goods stores?

Anyone have information regarding firearms on base? I know it's different at every base....at least it has been thus far. Last time i went down there 3 years ago, they said as long as it was unloaded and encased, personal weapons were ok. I'm not planning on bringing my .50, but it would be nice to have a carry piece along.

As far as places to shoot, may I recommend the DCM range over by Pascagoula...
